Object Name High relief (copper alloy) plaque depicting two army commanders wearing pearl-beaded shirts, collars, and caps, bells, leopard-teeth necklaces
Description These relief panels were originally nailed to the supporting pillars of the gallery roofs in the royal residence. They were produced between 1550 and 1608, and over time the motifs became more and more three-dimensional. This plate shows two high-ranking soldiers with royal pearl collars, hoods and the ceremonial sword "eben" in their hands. Text: Dietmar Neitzke.
