Description | These relief panels were originally nailed to the wooden pillars of the gallery roofs in the royal residence. Later they were stored inside the palace. Depicted is a high-ranking army commander with royal jewelry such as a collar of pearls, as well as a necklace of leopard teeth awarded honorary. Text: Dietmar Neitzke. |
